My mom was a hair stylist and I grew up hanging around her Childrens salon almost every weekend. I was the girl getting in trouble at school for cutting my friends hair during class so needless to say, doing hair was second nature to me. I knew it was something I wanted to do for my future, so I decided to enroll myself at the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in Austin. I got into a running start program when I was 16 and the day I graduated high school I started my career with Toni & Guy. Toni & Guy helped me with gaining confidence in texturized cutting and not too long after, I then became a cutting educator for the company. Being with the company for over 7 years, I knew I wanted to expand my skill set so I decided to attend barber school and had my own salon suite for about 3 years. During those 3 years I also went to school to become a cosmetology instructor, and was able to teach at the academy of hair design. I love education and anything hair! I’ve been able to attend many classes around the states and even internationally.
